All of our underpinning piers are drilled to a suitable depth to achieve maximum strength. The drilling equipment is a hydraulic tripod system which took a number of years to develop to obtain the best portable machine in Australia.

The machine can be taken inside dwellings (ideal for full brick homes), down narrow access sides and tight fitting back yards with basically no mess at all. The auger sides are 300mm, 400mm and 600mm and can be drilled to a maximum depth of 7.2 meters.

Before Mark started working for himself he worked for various underpinning companies and noticed the lack of machinery to do the job right. Some of the other machinery included a shovel, jackhammer, bobcat or excavators which can turn your biggest investment into a mud pit.

Unlike many other underpinning companies, all of our quotes are fixed priced with no hidden expense whatsoever. From the moment Mark comes out to give you a quote on the spot that price will be fixed.

Sometimes, during underpinning some unforeseen circumstances may take place such as

unusual depth of piers
stormwater pipes
sewer pipes
gas lines
Telstra lines

If any of these things come up during the duration of the job, no additional costs will be invoiced.

Engineers Certification

With any job sold at owner request we can supply an engineer’s certificate for peace of mind. Whilst the underpinning is taking place our engineers inspect the workmanship of the job and writes a certificate on completion.

This certificate shows where the work was done on your home and also will come in handy when the time comes to sell. In many cases when the time comes to sell your home, many people will pull out of a sale if the home has foundation problems.

The engineer’s certificate is proof that the work was done to a satisfactory standard.
